The Flugel is available in two sizes. The G66 at 168 centimetres, and the G75 at just under two metres, for spaces that were made for a piano of this stature.
Self-play is available as an option on the Flugel. Add it and your piano performs whether or not anyone is seated at the keys. Choose a programme from your iPad and the Flugel takes care of the rest. The mechanism is completely invisible. Only the music is audible.
Monolithic blocks replace the traditional leg structure. Patinated liquid metal against soft, chalky pastels. Sculpture before instrument.
At this scale, the transparent finish opens the room rather than occupying it. The mechanism visible, the space uninterrupted.
