CONCEPT STAGE Resources
For the early stages of a project when your thinking about a piano and if it work would work in the home/interior.
THE PROCESS
1. Reaching Out In The First Instance To Collaborate
In the very first instance when thinking about a piano or if you have a client that has asked about a piano – we would recommending reaching out and getting on our radar as we fully understand the piano is one small part of the overall project and we’d love to take the stress and worry of the piano away and collaborate with you to bring your vision to life.
The 5 key points we need to know are the following:
Budget – What do you or the client want to spend on the piano.
Design Direction – If you have any floorplans, moodboards, samples, finishes you can share with us to help our design team.
Size – what size is right for the room/interior.
How is the piano going to be used? Is the client wanting a statement piece or an accessory to the room.
Timeline – when do you need the piano by?.
Sharing the above information in your initial outreach will really help us understand your project more and our team will be able to start looking at options before the next step: The Design Consultation.
2. The Design Consultation
The Design Consultation is one of the most important stages of the process.
This is where we seek to fully understand your project and everything that you and your client and looking for in the piano.
The outcome from the design consultation is we have a clear understanding on what you are requiring and our design team can go away and start putting together our proposal for you.
3. Customising Your Piano
Once we fully understand your brief we then start looking at how to customise your piano based on what you have told us.
This video goes through all the parts we can customise on a piano and give a real life example of how we customised a piano with an interior designer!
4. Presenting back the options and final sign off.
We now present back 3 options based on everything you have told us and work with you to adapt and amend the options until you get to your final choice.
Once you have decided on your piano we then need a 50% deposit before sending you all the samples to sign-off on.
Once you give us the go-ahead that the samples are correct we then get building your piano!
