Each Edelweiss piano is bespoke, hand-built creation, exclusive to you.
Whether you choose to keep it classic or go further with one of our art creations, Edelweiss provides the ultimate musical experience in a personalised form of art.
For the yachting world we go even further.
With a dedicated Superyacht Specification- carbon fibre action parts, a perma-forma soundboard to withstand the varying maritime conditions and design modifications to ensure a secure deck fixing- you are assured your investment will give concert quality, musical enjoyment, for a lifetime.
Selected for increased durability, minimal wear over time and a guaranteed consistent performance for decades to come, the ‘ALL-BLACK’ Carbon Fibre action offers the most precise and responsive playing experience possible in comparison to traditional wooden action mechanisms.
This means that your piano will play perfectly whatever the conditions.
With varying humidity’s depending on the sailing destination, your ‘standard’ piano soundboard would likely split or crack. The Edelweiss ‘perma-formed’ soundboard uses the latest epoxy-resin sealant and bonding processes to enrich, secure and prolong the distinctive tonal qualities of our handmade European spruce soundboards. These processes eliminate moisture ingress and/or egress and ensure the soundboard is ‘perma-formed’ in the most perfect crown and tonal arc possible for its lifetime.
Your piano comes fitted with a climate control system that helps regulate moisture content surrounding the soundboard and ensures consistent, faultless performance.
Our design team is at your disposal to design the best deck fixings for the piano with your shipyard. We offer design suggestions for approval with your boatyard engineers and can share ideas as to the most secure deck fixing from the centre of the piano if required.
The answer is yes – it can. Whether you choose to go for a Goldfinch sculptural masterpiece or something from our Collection range – we will still build your piano to the Superyacht Specification.
The design of your piano doesn’t affect the Superyacht Specification.
The Edelweiss Sygnet and now the ALL NEW Edelweiss S132 are the perfect grand piano for Superyachts.
Only 132cm front to back – it is offically the smallest grand piano in the world.
Perfect for when space is at a premium but you need a full 88 note acoustic grand piano.
If you have a superyacht in build or are looking at a bespoke piano for a Superyacht you can arrange a design consultation where we can talk through what is and isn’t possible when it comes to the piano.
After the consultation we can provide 2D and 3D CAD models for you to place into any designs, drawings and floor plans to ensure the piano will fit.
